Sadly, I don't draw as much as I used to- between college, work, and life itself, I'm lucky to even get the chance to breathe. But, that doesn't stop me from being the nerd I am. The SWAT Kats, for those who are unfamiliar with the series, was a show aired on Cartoon Network during the early 90's. It was sadly cancelled before its prime due to many claims- "violence", lack of budget- you name it, Ted Turner's used the excuse. However, I am a shameless product of my generation, and being such, I had to throw my hand into the fan art bandwagon. This is my favorite piece from my internet gallery, and coincided with a fan fiction that I've yet to complete. I don't care if it's older, it was a milestone for me; it has a background, it has nontraditional character poses/interaction from me at that time, it is both linear and freestyle. My only regret is that I never colored it, for fear of ruining it, as well as the lack of time (if I'm not mistaking, I drew this around the time I was either graduating high school or getting ready to enter college. O_o Dang). |
