What exactly is this, anyway?- A claims journal; I know you've seen them before, but just in case you haven't, I'll explain. What happens is that you choose a character written below that has not been taken by another person yet, then leave a comment in this journal requesting to "claim" that character [Check the comments to make sure nobody else has requested that character before you; sometimes, two people will try to go for one character at the same time, so the way that I choose who gets it is that the one that comments first gets it.] I'll send you a comment to let you know if you've gotten the character successfully.
What happens AFTER I claim my character?- Well, then you paste this nifty little link into your signature/journal/shoutbox/whatever, if you would like:

By taking out the astericks (*) in front of the smallercase a's, you get this:

Oh, and be sure to replace the [INSERT CHARACTER(S) NAME(S) HERE] section with your claim(s).
Can I claim an OC? [Original Character]- Yes, but you can only claim one of your own original characters, and it must be one created for the Crash Fandom.
How many characters can I claim? And do I have to claim both a copyrighted character and an OC?- You can only claim ONE copyrighted character from the franchise, AND/OR ONE original character. And, as for the latter question, you don't have to claim both. If you want to claim only your OC, fine. You just want an in-game character? That's fine as well. But, choose wisely, because you can still only choose 1 OC/CC.
Can I change my character?- Only if the character you want to change to has NOT been claimed. I won't boot anyone out of a character they have for you.
You've forgotten a character from the game, and I would like to claim them. Will you add them to the list?- Sure thing; that's probably going to happen as the newer games come out, seeing as I don't really follow them like I did the older, retro ones, lol. Just send me an article or something that proves that the character's legit to the Crash fandom, and I'll place it on the list.
How do I know if a character's already been claimed?- If a character has an icon next to it, and formatted as followed [I will use my own as an example], then it is taken:
is Dr. N. Brio and Riley Bandicoot.[NOTE: Character names in Bold are official Crash game characters. Names in Italics are OC's. Undelined characters means that there are more than one type to be claimed, and are broken down. The character names with a dash [-] beside of it are the ones included under the underlined name.]
If a character name is in bold lettering, it's already been claimed. Again, I'd check the comments on this journal before you chose, so you can make sure that you're the first to request a character, ^^.
Someone's already claimed the character I want, but in the game, there are more than one of them. Is there a possibility that you would put me down for the character as well?- Characters like the Brat Girls, Voodoo Bunnies, Ninja Penguins [Basically all of the minor characters that can't be broken down into different types, but have multiple models in the games] I can do, but there will only be 3 openings for each [listed, for example as the following: Brat Girl #1, Brat Girl #2, Brat Girl #3... You get my point, lol] But as for Titans, only one person may claim each, because then the list would get even more uberly confusing than what it already is, lol.

Honestly, though, it's okay. Just go with your next pick. If it's been chosen as well, just keep going with your next favorite pick until you finally find one that's not been claimed.
There's a person in the list that's been indefinitely banned/quit deviantART. Can I have their character?- Send me proof that they've really been banned or have quit, and we'll talk, :]
Will you list my crew as an affiliate/ Can I list your crew as an affiliate?- Of course, my friend! Be my guest to include my crew with yours, if you desire. Likewise, I'll add a link to yours if you'll send me a comment/note with the request in it. :]
